Ed Gosen

Ed has been active in the Western Sport for 23 years now and rides national and international at a high level.

When Ed was young he began in the English Dressage, but soon he discovered the Western Sport. After that things have gone fast: Daarna ging het snel: he did his apprenticeships at Bob Loomis in the USA, worked at various barns and began to give lessons. To stay up to date, Ed trains in the USA and Germany. Ed is carded WRAN (Western Riding Association Nederland) judge.

In the mean time, the name Ed Gosen is "confirmed and reconfirmed" and also in 2008 he has won lots op prices:  Co-Champion in de Limited Open, DRHA Veldhoven with a 72,5 score with A Stylish Gallo, Dutch Champion with Hints Supreme Mickey in de Pleasure Open Class APHA, silver with Commander Riminic in de reining Open APHA en bronze at the European Championships Halter APHA with Hints Supreme Mickey.  

Also in the year of 2009 you will find Ed at the national en international contests, with a.o. Commander Riminic, A Stylish Gallo, Chexinem Out an probably also the horses which are for sale, for example: Invite me to Ride (Invitation Only x Flashy Sermon), Impress me Zippo (Zippoversion x Impressively Sunny), WR Shine n Dark (Nitro Dual Doc x Rappin Hallowena)

Because of the lots of experience he already had, Ed can help you to import horses from the USA or Europe.

 

Francisca van der Poorte

Francisca, business partner in the VOF Ed Gosen Paints & Quarterhorses, has been active in the Western Sport for 15 years now and trains with different instructors.
In 2008 she became Dutch Champion in the Hunter under Saddle, APHA, open class with her 4-year old mare Truckin Kinda Gal. Also in 2008 Francisca obtained her certificate Instructor Western Riding at the Equine Centre in Deurne.

Francisca goes on a regular basis to the United States to school herself at pleasure and hunter under saddle.
Next to giving lessons and riding horses, she organizes shows, clinics and takes care of the PR and the administrative part of the V.O.F. Ed Gosen Paints & Quarterhorses.
